Children with cancer from the East Midlands are to be helped by a fund set up in memory of Lewis Mighty, who died last year.

Lewis' story touched the local community who raised £250,000 for his treatment.

'The Lewis Mighty Fund' is now joining Nottingham Hospitals Charity to help children with cancer being treated at Nottingham's Children Hospital and in the wider community.

The money originally raised for Lewis, who suffered from Neuroblastoma, will be used to benefit other local patients and families.

Lewis' story also touched the hearts of international singer, James Morrison. He is now a strong supporter of the fund.
