Following the deaths of Donald and Margaret Knight on Wednesday 1 May, a forensic post mortem examination took place last night at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The cause of death in both instances has been confirmed as a gunshot wound to the head.

After the bodies of an 81 year old woman and a 78 year old man were found yesterday in Loddington, police have confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the deaths.
A post mortem examination will take place later today.
