Possible delays of up to 15 minutes on London Midland between Spring Road and Tyseley due to signalling problem.
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Spring Road and Tyseley, trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. This may lead to delays to trains until 10:00am this morning.
There is disruption on London Midland train services on the following lines due to trespassers on the line between Northampton and Wolverton.
- Between London Euston and Birmingham New Street
- Between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street
- Between London Euston and Hereford
- Between London Euston and Wolverhampton
Trains across the whole London Midland network are affected. Services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes or cancelled at short notice. Disruption is expected to continue until around 19:00.
Train passengers plagued by delays and cancellations on services run by London Midland are to get a £7 million package of benefits.
Repeated staff shortages has led to serious disruption for many weeks in areas including Northampton. Now London Midland season ticket holders will be given five days of free travel passes. The company has cancelled nearly a thousand services since mid-October.
