11 Aston Villa fans are celebrating after winning £1million in last week's EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw.

The 11 lucky winners have posed for a team photo with a difference - sporting Aston Villa shirts with the numbers one to eleven.

A couple who won £45m on the lottery have been given permission to build a multi-million pound eco-friendly home in Nottingham.

Matt and Cassey Topham's new house in Wollaton will be partly underground and made of four separate pods covered in turf.

It is being reported that a teenager from the West Midlands has won a £22 million pound lottery jackpot.

The Birmingham Mail says the Euromillions win has made the 18-year-old one of the richest teens in Britain.

According to the newspaper, the teenager has asked to remain anonymous.

To date the B postcode area has 94 members of the exclusive 'Millionaires' Club' and, in all, 875 prizes of £50,000 or more have been paid out in the region.

This is the first time The National Lottery has analysed various prizes at regular intervals across all postcode areas, allowing it to highlight the nation's luckiest locations.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: "Congratulations to the people of Birmingham - they have been living through almost two stunning decades of luck and can celebrate being number one in the UK."

The Birmingham or 'B' postcode region is the all-time luckiest in terms of the number of National Lottery millionaires created according to a new league table of National Lottery windfalls.

The data analysed included all of the UK's 121 postcode areas since the National Lottery was launched in 1994.

The lucky postcode also tops the table for the most prizes of £50,000 or more won by residents.
