The head teacher of the Primary School which has had to close until the New Year following around £30,000 worth of vandalism damage has told ITV Central their brand new offices are "completely ruined".
Loxdale Primary School only had its offices refurbished around 3 weeks ago and workmen are now beginning the job of fixing the damage.

Intruders broke into Loxdale Primary School at around 1:00am on Monday. They tore off lead from the roof and ripped out internal pipework, which flooded parts of the school.
Due to the extent on the damage, repair work won't be finished until the New Year meaning the school won't re-open until the start of the spring term.
