Former Port Vale manager has been unveiled as Hereford United's First Team Manager.
Foyle, aged 49, beat off opposition from over 40 applicants for the vacant managerial job at Edgar Street.
Hereford United chairman David Keyte said, "We had been strongly advised by many people to appoint a manager who has Conference experience. "Martin certainly has a wealth of experience as player, coach, assistant manager and most importantly as manager."
"We'll be looking for him to draw on his experience and his contacts within the game to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion."
Foyle enjoyed a successful playing career as a striker, making appearances for Southampton, Aldershot, Oxford and Port Vale. He scored almost 200 goals in his 555 professional career.
