Worksop woman attacked with hammer
A 25-year-old woman is in hospital after a man attacked her with a hammer in the early hours of this morning.
It happened around 4am today as the woman walked alone along Plantation Hill.
The victim sustained head injuries and is currently in hospital in a stable condition.
The woman's white Apple iPhone was stolen during the attack.
Nottinghamshire Police are keen to trace a light-blue hatchback vehicle, which may be a Volkswagon Polo, and the occupants who may have witnessed the assault.
