Labour MP Yvette Cooper has blamed government cuts to frontline policing for the drop in domestic violence prosecutions despite the rise in reported incidents.

West Mercia and Warwickshire police are to cut 650 jobs to save 30 million pounds from their budgets.
The two forces are to share resources including support services like HR and IT.
The job losses will be implemented over the next four years and will see a total of 90 fewer constables across both areas.
