The grandson of Febronia Krzanicka, the 93-year-old who has received an award from the President of Poland for services to the Nottingham Polish community says his grandmother is "completely selfless and makes a genuine contribution".

"If I can make people happy, I'm happy"
A 93-year-old grandmother from Nottingham, who has dedicated her life to helping others has received an award from the President of Poland.
Febronia Krzanicka has lived in Carlton for the past 60 years but is originally from Poland.
On Saturday she was awarded 'The Knights Cross' for services rendered to the Polish community in the UK, in particular Nottingham.

Two Children Killed In Car Crash
A second toddler has died in a car crash in Leicester which killed a one-year-old boy.

The latest victim was a a two-year-old girl - they were both in a pushchair. The two children were from the city's large Polish community.
