Work has begun on one of the biggest regeneration schemes Derby has ever seen, it will create 1,600 jobs over the next twenty years.
The £100 million redevelopment of land between Derby Midland Station and the Westfield Centre will include 800 new homes and hundreds of business premises across the 30-acre Castle ward site.
The Pallasades car park will close today as part of a multi-million pound redevelopment of Birmingham New Street. It'll be demolished and a new one will open in 2014. The car park closes at 7pm this evening.
