Former Aston Villa captain Richard Dunne will be allowed to leave Aston Villa this summer according to reports.
The Telegraph says Dunne, 33, has been told he can look for a new club at the end of his contract next month.
A number of other players are expected to be allowed to leave including Shay Given, Darren Bent and Stephen Ireland as Villa look to lower their wage bill.
Dunne is keen to make a comeback from a broken collarbone before the end of the season.
He is flying out to America to continue his rehabilitation with Cleveland who are owned by Villa chairman Randy Lerner.
