Ryanair will today announce its summer outlook for East Midlands Airport.
CEO of Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, will be holding a press conference this afternoon at the airport in Castle Donington.
The budget airline has already announced new flights to Marseille and Menorca, bringing its total destinations to 111.
Budget airline Ryanair will create 1,000 jobs in the UK next year by flying a million more passengers on new routes, including routes from the East Midlands.
Operating more than 1,500 flights per day, across 28 countries, East Midlands Airport is one of three locations set to benefit, alongside Liverpool and Manchester.
Ryanair plans to add nine new routes, two of which will run from the East Midlands - to Marseille and Menorca, creating 460 jobs in the region.
Ryanair has announced a new route from East Midlands Airport to Warsaw Modlin from 30 October 2012. The airline celebrated its new East Midlands route by releasing one million seats from £10.99, which are available for booking from tomorrow.
