Scooting their way to surgery in Nottingham
Nottingham Children's Hospital has come up with a novel way of making hospital less daunting. They've been given six new scooters for children to use around the wards and corridors while they're having treatment.
The idea is the kids can scoot to the operating theatre, making the prospect of surgery less scary. Hospital staff say it also helps with their rehabilitation.
