The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating the death of a trainee soldier from Nottinghamshire who was hit by a police car.
Twenty-one-year-old Joshua Steven Brown was hit by the car on a dual carriageway in Surrey in the early hours of Saturday and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were answering an emergency call at the time and the IPCC says it is investigating whether the police response was appropriate to the emergency call.
