The Great South Run, which fundraiser Claire Lomas MBE from Leicestershire was meant to be taking part in, has been cancelled due to the bad weather.
Claire, who is paralysed from the chest down, was aiming to complete the 10 mile event in Portsmouth in 24 hours.
However, the strong winds from Storm Brian has pushed the event back to tomorrow now.
