MP for West Bromwich says he's constituents deserve clarity on the Golden Temple siege in Amritsar 30 years ago. He says he's demanding a statement in the House of Commons.
The story is creeping out the Indian news media have recently done a story to say the forces planned a kidnap and extraction raid at a hostel. My constituents deserve more than that now that the cat is out of the bag and I'm demanding a statement in the House of Commons on Monday morning.
Tom Watson - the Labour MP for West Bromwich - has called on the government to make an 'urgent statement' about new claims of British Government involvement in a attack on Sikhs in India 30 years ago.
It comes after an Indian TV station suggested that SAS officers trained Indian forces before the Golden Temple siege in Amritsar.
The Prime Minister has said he is investigating but Tom Watson wants the government to address the House of Commons immediately.
