The latest edition of the Guinness World Records Book has been published with the Midlands claiming many records.
Whilst most of us were out celebrating the Diamond Jubilee this weekend, two pilots from Derby Aero Club were breaking a new world record.
Keith Meeson has broken the world record by walking 10 kilometers in a pair of collier clogs, they weigh a total of 5lbs.
Keith spent the week training by strapping weights to his feet.
The walk's been done in aid of The Donna Louise Children's Hospice, a charity which helps to support families from Staffordshire and Cheshire.
World record holders Jonathan Mitchell and David Jones.
This weekend they set a new world record for the circumnavigation of the UK in a light aircraft.
They completed their challenge in just under 14 hours.
