Young carer 'proud' she challenged Nick Clegg during radio phone-in

A teenager from Derby who put the Deputy Prime Minister on the spot during a live radio phone-in, says she is proud of what she did.

17-year-old Lauren Moor helps care for her physically disabled brother Thomas, who has muscular dystrophy.

Lauren is supported by the charity Action for Children - but concerned about how government cuts might affect other young carers like herself, Lauren decided to call in to Nick Clegg's weekly radio phone-in.
