The RAF Museum in Cosford in Shropshire has taken delivery of a Nimrod fuselage today.
It arrived in style and measured 38 metres in length.
The wings and some remaining parts of the aircraft will be delivered in the near future.
The Nimrod will be re-assembled on site before going on display.
RAF Museum Curator, Al McLean says:
"It was amazing to see such a large aircraft transported by road to Cosford and we are pleased to be receiving a Nimrod aircraft into the RAF Museum collection".
