The jury has retired to consider its verdict in the trial of two men accused of murdering a former Leicestershire police officer.
Ameen Jogee and Mohammed Hirsi both deny murdering former Leicestershire police officer Paul Fyfe at his girlfriend's home in Leicester last June.
The jury at Nottingham Crown Court heard they had blamed each other for the murder.
Mr Fyfe, 47, died from a single stab wound at the home of his girlfriend Niomi Reid in the early hours of June 10 last year.
