Army Captain Repatriated

Captain Rupert William Michael Bowers, who was 24, was killed in an explosion in Afghanistan last week. Today his body is being repatriated back to the UK at RAF Brize Norton.

Captain Rupert Bowers died in an explosion in Afghanistan last week.

Capt Bowers had been attached to the 2nd Battalion The Rifles and was an advisor to the Afghan National Army.

He’d been based in the Forward Operating Base at Ouellette in Nahr-e Saraj, Helmand.
