Police say the killer of a 92 year old war veteran carried out his attack in a short time frame. A neighbour took a meal to the pensioner just a couple of hours before he was found murdered.
The attacker will have been heavily bloodstained and police say they may well have been trying to conceal the evidence of their attack from friends and family.
