West Midlands Fire Service have revealed their latest recruit – Mac the search and rescue dog.
Mac, a two and a half-year-old Labrador, is now fully qualified as a UK Fire Service search dog after passing his final tests with "flying colours".
From today, he will be available to help people who are trapped under or within buildings which have collapsed after natural disasters, gas explosions or terrorist incidents.
