Road crash sisters named
Two sisters who died in a road collision on the A38 have been identified by police as Parveen Kauser and Raheela Altaf from Derby.
The collision happened on the northbound carriageway just prior to the Branston junction at around 7.45pm on Friday evening and involved a red Lexus IS200 Sport and a black Peugeot 207.
The three rear seat passengers were injured in the collision.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 24-year-old man from Derby, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
