A man has been charged with the murder of a 63-year-old woman from Orleton in Herefordshire who has been reported missing since January.
Police say the suspect is a 60-year-old man and will appear before magistrates in Hereford tomorrow charged with the murder of Alethea Taylor.
Alethea Taylor was reported missing on 19th January this year. Extensive searches by police have been unsuccessful.
"I can confirm that earlier today a 60-year-old man was charged with the murder of Alethea Taylor.
"He will be appearing at Hereford Magistrates' Court in the morning.
"Although this represents a significant step forward in our inquiry, our work on this case will be continuing and we remain keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have information about Alethea's disappearance."
