Lincoln Christmas Market Fees

The City of Lincoln council is due to decide later whether or not to increase some of the fees for stallholders at the annual Christmas market. Last year's event made a loss of £113,000.

Trader admits fee increase is a concern

One of the regular traders at the Lincoln Christmas Market admits he will have to consider how big a stall to rent this year if proposals to increase the charges for some stallholders are approved by the city council.

Tim Jones, who runs Lincolnshire Poacher Cheeses, says he is worried that the recommended increase in charges could be unfair.
