A flash mob surprised shoppers in Hinckley yesterday morning as they burst into dance moves at 11.30am.
Shoppers at the Britannia Centre were unaware of what was happening as plain clothed people began to dance in unison with three fitness instructors.
The term flashmob was coined in 2003 and describes a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place and then perform an unusual, seemingly pointless act for a brief amount of time.
The purpose of the flashmob was to raise awareness of the benefits of exercise.
