England batsman Ian Bell has signed a new contract with his home county, Warwickshire.
The new deal will keep 30-year-old Bell tied to Warwickshire until at least 2015.
In 2001 he became the youngest player to ever receive a Warwickshire county cap after scoring 836 runs in 16 innings that season, including three centuries and two scores of 98.
– Ashley Giles, Warwickshire’s Director of Cricket
He trains exceptionally hard and is a great role model. We’re all delighted that he’s committed to playing his county cricket for Warwickshire for at least the next three years.”
Commenting on the contract extension, Ian said: “I take a great deal of pride in representing my home county and it’s fantastic to sign a new deal to continue playing for Warwickshire for the foreseeable future.
