Police appeal after woman dies in M5 crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died in a crash which caused the M5 to be closed for five hours.
It's after a Mercedes Van and a Mazda car collided on the southbound carriageway between junction seven near Worcester and junction eight at Strensham shortly after 10pm last night.
The driver of the Mazda car, a 63-year-old woman from the Gloucester area, died at the scene.
The Central Motorway Police Group is now investigating and are appealing for anyone who saw the crash to come forward.
