Police recover body of landslide victim

The body of a Derbyshire woman has been found at the scene of a large landslide in Dorset.

It follows a major rescue operation at Freshwater Beach in Burton Bradstock after tonnes of rock came crashing down from the cliffs.

The body is believed to be that of 22-year-old Charlotte Blackman who was reported missing following the landslide.

Visitors to West Dorset are being advised to avoid beaches with a cliff backdrop because of the risk of more landslides. More on this story.
