The second man arrested in connection with the explosions last night in Cheadle, Blythe Bridge and West Coyney is a 40-year-old from Bagnall. He has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
The first man, a 44-year-old from Cheadle, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
The police are continuing to investigate the three explosions that took place in Staffordshire on Friday night.
