Teenager from Stourbridge honoured for bravery

A teenager who saved a schoolgirl's life when he intervened in a frenzied stabbing attack is being honoured for his bravery in the National 999 awards.

Ben Hudson, from Stourbridge, stepped in when he saw fellow pupil Chloe West being stabbed by her former boyfriend.

He received several injuries to his hands as he tried to help her. Samuel Gayzer-Tomlinson was ordered to serve 13 years in a young offenders institution.
