Nottingham to host 2013 Armed Forces Day
Nottingham has been announced as the host city for next year's National Armed Forces Day.
Plans are already underway to create a spectacular national event which will take place on Saturday 29 June.
Councillor David Trimble, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Tourism at Nottingham City Council, said: "This is the first time we will host the event and it is an honour to be able to celebrate our Armed Forces on a national stage."
The event will honour Armed Forces from past and present.
