The mother of a 3-year-old girl has released a photo diary of her daughter's fight for survival after contracting meningitis.
Doctors told Michelle and Michael Scoffings that their daughter was 3 hours from death and if she survived, may have to have both legs amputated.
But 8 months on Erica has defied all the odds. Her mother chose to release the photos online as a warning to other parents of the dangers of Meningitis
