Sophie Well's dad tells of his 'immense pride'
The father of ParalympicsGB equestrian star Sophie Wells from Newark has told Central News of his joy at his daughter's success:
– Mervyn Wells, Sophie's dad"It's just a feeling of immense pride. This is something we're been working towards for 8 years and today is a culmination of all that toil."
Sophie Wells posted an international personal best score of 75.906% to put herself in a great position to win her first Paralympic medal as part of ParalympicGB's dressage team.
