Four men and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of child abduction and sexual activity with children, after a series of raids in Leicester.
It follows a joint operation carried out by Nottinghamshire Police and Leicestershire Police.
The five people - one aged 17, two aged 18, one aged 20 and one aged 23 - were arrested today (5 September).
Police say the suspects travelled to Newark and took the girls - three aged 14 and one aged 15 - to addresses in Leicestershire. It is alleged the girls were involved in four separate incidents in July this year.
