Sherwood man held over murder

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the murder of Malakai McKenzie in Sherwood.

He was detained by officers on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

19 year-old McKenzie died in hospital on April 21 after being shot outside The Hubb public house in Sherwood.

Three men have been charged with his murder - Cameron Cashin, 20, Ijah Lavelle-Moore, 20, and Malcolm Vaughan Francis, 18, all from the Basford area of Nottingham.
