20,000 signature petition to save Stafford Hospital
Stafford Hospital campaigners are taking a 20,000 signature petition to Downing Street today over plans to downgrade the A&E department to an urgent and emergency care centre.
Campaigners say they fear this is the first step in a programme to downgrade the hospital and could force its closure.
