A Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group survey has revealed that Birmingham businesses are suffering from what it calls 'unacceptable delays and rising costs' due to congestion in the city.
61% of businesses that responded to the survey said they were affected by the congestion and 42% said that their reputation was being harmed.
Catering businesses reported unacceptable delays and three-quarters reported rising costs.

“It is clear from our survey that congestion is costing our businesses money and harming their reputations. These are difficult times and we must do all we can to remove these obstacles and ensure business in Birmingham is as competitive as it can be.”
