Boy critically ill after Newark crash
A 10-year-old boy is critically ill in hospital after a crash in Newark yesterday (22 September).
It happened on Friary Road at around 5pm. Police say the boy sustained serious head injuries after being hit by a silver Jeep Cherokee.
He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. His condition is described as critical.
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
