A special service is being held in Nottingham today (23 September), to remember the two police officers who were killed in Manchester.PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone were killed as they responded to a call on Tuesday morning (18 September).
The parents of PC Bone, who spent her early life in Castle Donington in Leicestershire, paid tribute to her, saying they have "lost a wonderful daughter, sister, partner and parent".
The service is taking place at St Peter's Church later this afternoon.
The funerals of the two police officers shot dead in Tameside last week will be laid to rest at Manchester Cathedral in separate services.
The families of two police officers killed in a gun and grenade attack in Greater Manchester have paid tribute to them.
