The Nottingham Forest Academy was officially renamed the Nigel Doughty Academy earlier today, in honour of the late owner.
Mr Doughty, who died at a gym in his Lincolnshire home saved the club from administration when he bought it in 1999. His widow Lucy said:
"He wanted so badly to give Nottingham such an academy for the youngsters of tomorrow, for tomorrow's footballers. He belived so much in the preparation as a footballer and it brings us great joy."
