Staffordshire cricketer helps England beat Australia in ICC World T20

England Women have beaten Australia Women by seven wickets in the final group match of the ICC Women's World T20 at Galle International Stadium.

Australia elected to bat first and made 144 for five from their 20 overs. Katherine Brunt set the tone for England allowing the Australian openers just one run off the first over and was later rewarded with the straightforward caught and bowled off Alyssa Healy.

Staffordshire's Danielle Wyatt wrapped up the game with a 63-run partnership. She hit six boundaries on the way to an unbeaten 33 off 17 balls.

By finishing top of group A England Women will play New Zealand in the first semi-final on Thursday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, at 2.30pm local time.
