A court has heard that a woman was refused a lift by two police officers, hours before she was found dead.
The body of 28-year-old mother of two Caroline Coyne was discovered in an alleyway in Nottingham last July.
24-year-old Carl Powell denies her murder.
Today at his trial two Special Constables gave evidence and denied treating Caroline Coyne's request for a lift as a joke.
The trial continues.
