A dentist from Handsworth has been sentenced to six and a half years in jail for conspiracy to defraud, after conning the NHS out of £1.4 million.
Joyce Trail, 52, who now lives in Sutton Coldfield, was convicted of the fraud in July.
She also faces an extra six months for perverting the course of justice, giver her a total jail sentence of seven years.
Her daughter, Nyri Sterling, 33, worked at the practise and was also found guilty of conspiracy to defraud.
She has been sentenced to two years behind bars for her role in the fraud conspiracy.
