Police are trying to trace the people who helped a human trafficking victim who was driven to Derby.
The 17-year-old was dropped off in Chaddesden on Thursday afternoon by a man driving a dark blue car.
According to police, she got out of the car and began asking members of the public for directions to the nearest police station.
She was directed to the station in Roe Farm Lane, where she told officers she had been trafficked into the UK three years ago.
She arrived at the station at around 6pm.
She does not know where in the country she has been.
Officers have been supporting her and are trying to trace her movements in Derby on Thursday and identify the car and driver.
Several passers-by offered her help, or use a mobile phone, and officers are keen to speak to these people.
