Wards re-open to visitors after Norovirus outbreak

Some wards have reopened to visitors at Warwick hospital following an outbreak of Norovirus.

The decision to welcome visitors back to the unaffected wards in the hospital was taken following a review of the virus outbreak in the hospital.

The hospital has been closed to visitors for a week while staff ensured they had contained the virus, also known as they winter vomiting bug.

Visitors are only allowed between 6pm and 8pm to the following wards:

  • Farries Ward
  • Guy Ward
  • Squire Ward
  • Avon Ward
  • Charlecote Ward
  • Nicol Unit at Stratford Hospital
  • Arden Court at the Helen Ley Centre
