Police appeal for witnesses after 5-year-old hit by car
West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after a 5-year-old girl was left in a critical condition in hospital following a crash last night.
The girl was hit by a blue Citroen Picasso at around 6:30pm yesterday evening in Kingstanding.
The driver later handed himself in to police at around 11:00pm after failing to stop at the scene.
