Police say the three men arrested and questioned in connection with the alleged beating of an elephant have been bailed.
Leicestershire Police said:
"We are currently carrying out an investigation in connection with the unnecessary suffering to an elephant at Twycross Zoo.
"Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries."
