Lincolnshire-born British Olympic bronze medallist Hannah Macleod has had her medal stolen hours after attending an event hosted by the Queen to celebrate London 2012 athletes.
Hockey star Hannah, 28, took to Twitter along with rower Alex Partridge who also had his medal stolen to appeal to anyone who may know where the medals are.
Both Olympians believe the medals were stolen in the early hours of yesterday morning at an event in Mayfair.
Scotland Yard have confirmed it was investigating reports of a stolen Olympic medal and but the force had not been contacted about a second stolen medal.
